How can I use the FolderViewer to create a picture gallery?
The first thing you should do is add a folder using the File Manager.
Give the folder whatever name you want and remember its location, you
will need it soon. Once the folder has been added go ahead and add a
FolderViewer. When you first add a FolderViewer you will be presented
with a setup wizard. This wizard had multiple pages.

Page 1
This page will ask you to select a folder. Find the folder you created earlier and select it. Go to the next page.
Page 2
This page asks you how you want the items in the folder to be listed. Choose the Photo Album option. If you want your gallery to display in multiple columns put the column number you want in the textbox at the bottom of this page. Three columns is a good choice for a gallery.
Page 3
This will ask you what files in this folder do you want to be shown.
For a gallery you should probably choose the display all files option.
Page 4
This page lists all the pictures currently in the folder. If you want to
hide specific pictures at a later time you can do it from here. For now just move on.

Thi s page sets the display style of an individual entry if it is
clicked on. In this case we will have it display the picture, a previous image link, a next image link, and a return link. You can also set the display location. Just about any of these will work for a gallery but we will choose to display in a popup.

Here you can set the title and description for the gallery.

This page gives you various RSS and publishing options. This doesnt make much sense for a gallery so just skip this page.
Page 8
This final page gives you a preview of how your gallery will look. In our
case its blank since we have no pictures yet. Hit the finish button and
the gallery is added.
Uploading a picture to the gallery
The final step is to add images to the gallery. You can do this one of two ways. The first way is to move images into this folder from the File Manager. The second way is to upload files into the gallery. To do this move your mouse to the folder icon on the block, a menu will appear and one of the options is 'Upload File'.
